In the years that followed, we've gained a reputation in the Macintosh community for quality products backed by top-notch support. We worked hard, developed new products, and in the late summer of 2002, began an experiment that few have tried... setting out from home with PowerBooks on a journey that would change our lives and the direction of our company. For over two years, the company operated "on the road", while we lived and traveled in some twenty countries from the Republic of Georgia to Cambodia. We wrote software in a Singapore cafe, answered your inquiries from the highlands of central Sri Lanka, and released product updates from the beautiful islands of the Maldives (when we weren't busy taking in the world's best undersea scenery). We're still on the road frequently, but today, Xeric Design maintains its headquarters in the small mountain hamlet of Incline Village, Nevada, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, with a vision to open a satellite office half a world away in Dubai, UAE... a new home at the modern and vibrant crossroads between Europe and Asia. We strive to develop the most modern, cutting edge tools. At the same time, we bring you the warm personal service that can only come from a small company.
